February Wrap Up

Aidan saw an empty lap, and a willing person to read to him. Bug is such a good big sister.
This boy can get into ANYTHING...here he needed to send out some email...actually, he was looking at the blog pictures.

Nealy loves the cat. Poor Pretty Girl, she takes it so well!

My sugar hound. Look closely at his mouth, yes, it is all black. Aidan got into some black jellybeans...gross. I love the sticker in his hair too.

I've been rather slow on the updates this months, don't know what has happened, I guess I've been slow with the camera. Here are a few pictures to end the month, and hopefully we will have a more exciting March!

Princess Dreams

Nealy has incredible balance. Notice Wes' lack of hair???

A Fisher Price magazine came in the mail yesterday, and boy was Nealy excited. She spent the longest time paging through it telling us in her very excited princess voice "OH, look, I need that for Christmas!" Oh baby girl. Even Aidan got in on the fun!

Aidan and Lala

I love this one the best, I mean just look at Lala's face!
After his shower, Aidan loves to run around while we chase him to get him diapered and dressed. Lala happened to be around, and Aidan was not shy at all about climbing all over her. Poor Lala!

Sneaking Peeps

Aidan has become a little sneak. He is a very good climber, and has realized that the best goodies are left up high. When this boy smells sugar, you best look out!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Daddy and the kids
Nealy with her snowman.

The ice sculptures

Aidan was not happy

Working snowman's face, we were low on supplies

Making her Valentines, by marble painting!

Today has been a busy Valentine's Day. Nealy had ballet this morning, and we went outside to build our snowman! Even though we have had tons of snow, today was the first day we had packing snow for a snowman! Nealy was thrilled, Aidan loved it until his mitten got snow on it... After our snowman was complete, we went downtown to see the ice sculptures. They loved looking around, and Aidan was much happier in his stroller! Happy Valentine's Day!

Nealy and Pretty Girl

Nealy and Pretty Girl have an interesting relationship. As long as Bug is quiet and soft-handed they get along. Sometimes (okay, maybe more than sometimes), Bug loves the cat a little too hard. Regardless, they have come a long way! The cat knows that Nealy is the easiest one to get treats out of!

A Long Week

Relaxing with juice, blanket, and his napkin!

This one pretty much sums up the week.

It's been a long week. Both kids have had the stomach flu, and it took a lot out of them (and Wes and I in the process!) Although they are both feeling a bit better now, we are still taking it easy, and slowly introducing food again. Ahh, the life!

The Beach in February

"It's the BEACH!!!"
We found a big piece of driftwood sitting on the beach, just waiting for a little Bug!
We did not venture past this point... It was very cool to see the layers of snow/ice
Standing on her "snow mountain"
Nealy and Mommy
Daddy and Nealy walking along the beach
This was at the edge of the parking lot, you can see the tracks from the snow trucks that dump the snow onto the beach, sand fences, and way in the back, the light house.

It's hard to imagine that 6 short months ago we were sunbathing at this very spot! Wes and I took Nealy down to the beach today. No bathing suits were necessary, but it was a beautiful winter day. We have a warm front coming through, and today it was in the 40's! We walked out onto the lake for a bit, being ever-so-careful to be on the look out for any cracks! It was fun, Bug has a blast. Poor Aidan was taking a nap, and missed the entire outing.

Oh My Bug!

Nealy thought it was so funny to watch her dress puff out. She waited and waited for that heater to come back on!
Her Pinkness. She was the princess, and Aidan was her prince...he wasn't thrilled with that, but was such a good sport!
