It's a Spring Thing

 It was a busy week...and an even busier weekend!  Nealy had a little performance with her classmates dancing and singing "Oh the Thinks You Can Think" from Dr. Suess.

 It was cute, but impossible to take pictures.

 On Saturday the school had a spring carnival.  The kids LOVE carnivals.

 Our highlight, however, was seeing Ms. Dudley.  It was way overdue.

And a bit too short.  We miss you!

Opening Day

It has begun.  Saturdays  (and one weekday each) are filled with softball and baseball!  Both kids have been doing great and are really working hard on their skills.  Bubba is on the "Red Sox" team... and they are called the "red sox" because they wear "red socks".  Maybe next year he can be a team we actually like????  Nealy is on the Unicorn team, which she is just fine with!

Easter Weekend

 They went on a parade to show off their hats and get candy.

 We thought the bunny would like to take them for a walk too.

 An Easter morning egg hunt

It was a whirlwind of a weekend!  Wes surprised us with a trip to the mountains in Asheville!  The kids were so good, and loved "being on vacation".  The scenery was beautiful, the weather although cooler, was perfect.  Now if only we had a few more days to sleep off all the excitement!
