It's Pumpkin Time!

We decided that Nealy was old enough this year to carve a pumpkin, or at least watch while her dad carved hers! Both kids were very interested in the "pumpkin guts", and they both helped dig stuff out! Nealy informed Wes that she wanted a scary pumpkin, and was thrilled with the results. She insists that her pumpkin is saying "GIVE ME SOME CANDY!" Today we may try and cook the seeds into a yummy treat...we shall see!

A Ride

Even though I advised against it, Nealy and Aidan used the plastic wagon for wagon rides. Aidan climbed right on in, sat down next to Nealy's baby doll and had her pull him all over. Eventually a pit stop was necessary, as they blew a blue tire...Yes, I ended up being their pit crew and fixed the wheel.

FINALLY! What Fun!

Aidan's first pony ride. He actually did really well!
Bug on her white pony
We tried to get the kids next to each other, but the ponies wouldn't cooperate!
Picking a pumpkin

It's hard work!

On another hayride

The pigs...can you tell Wes is smiling? Yes, the kids like pigs too!

The Zip line. Nealy had no problem going on this thing. Her proud Dad is in the background!
The smile that lasted for miles!

On Saturday we went to the Post Family Farm. What fun we had! It was a great day filled with hayrides, farm animals, pony rides, tractor train rides, face paintings, food, pumpkin picking and so much more! Nealy was into everything, she HAD to try the zip line, and after a trial run with Wes very close by, she managed it all by herself! Aidan was in heaven. He absolutely loved the animals, dirt, and pumpkins. Wes and I were so proud of both kids, and we can't wait to go back for our Christmas tree and a horse drawn sleigh ride!!!

The Cider Mill

Playing in the hay...

She thought the hay was a blast, and would run down and fall in the middle!
Nealy and Grammie
Aidan and his Lala
The tractor train...Nealy wasn't sure at first, but ended up loving it. Aidan was absolutely THRILLED!

"Can I have this Mom???"

Today was a great fall day, and since Grammie had the day off, we packed up the van and went to the Cider Mill. Nealy wasn't fond of the cider itself, but loved the donuts (as did we all!). The kids had a great time running around, and even got to ride on a tractor train!

Halloween Preview

His blue eyes are too much. Good pictures of the fully dressed bear and Cinderella will appear on Halloween. I had to try on Aidan's costume to make sure it would fit, we have issues with sizes these days seeing as he wears an 18 month top and only a 9-12 month bottom!
