I still can't believe my baby boy has turned two. He is definitely a two year old! We had a little celebration among all the unpacking going on. He loved his cake and thoroughly enjoyed opening his presents this year! Nealy was a bit disappointed that he didn't need her help, and we assured her that her turn is coming up very soon! So for the next 6 weeks we have a two year old and a three year old! Happy Birthday Bubba! We love you!

Not much new has been going on over here, just enjoying our days until we have to pack up and head down south. We've had a few really nice days that were spent at the beach, but it's been rather rainy for the last two or so. Hopefully it will brighten up for the weekend!

Yesterday we loaded everyone up and went to the pool. Even Gramps, Grammie, and Lala came along! Nealy got a private swim lesson from Gramps, and did very well! Gramps had her swimming by herself, diving, and she loved every minute! Below is a video of the beginning of Nealy swimming, by the end of the day she was going much farther by herself!

Yes, We Love the Beach!

I took the kids to the beach on Friday, oh how we love the beach. We sat right by the water and had our lunch, and the kids played for HOURS! The water was a great temp, and all three of us spent some quality time in it! Sorry no pics of that, didn't want to ruin my camera, and the kids can't be in by themselves!

Yesterday Grammie and I took the kids to Build a Bear for an early birthday celebration. The kids each chose an animal and had a blast stuffing them and making them their own. Aidan's is truly a Detroit Tiger, just like Paws, and Nealy chose a bunny and pink Detroit stuff. Both are very cute, and Nealy has been dressing and undressing them constantly! Thanks Grammie!

Big Boy News

Aidan sporting all SEVEN pairs of new "Elmo's". He is SO proud of himself!

Aidan has made it quite clear that he is ready to tackle the potty. After being very good about using his potty, I've invested in some new big boy underwear! He was THRILLED, and had to wear EVERY pair at the same time. He did very well this morning, only having one accident while I was busy making lunch!

My mouth is wide open, Aidan's asking where the hockey guys are, Nealy's eyes are closed. Yes, for THIS we waited for TWO HOURS! I just kept reminding myself that Steve Yzerman touched this same very cup! *sigh*
