2 Weeks...

For two weeks the kids and I were on our own (well, without Daddy!), while Wes was taking a grad class in Baltimore.   It was a long two weeks, but we managed to fill our days!

 We went to the beach with Uncle Joe, Aunt Katie and cousins Will, Lizzie and Anna...Plus Grammie!

 It was the first beach experience for Kellen!

 We went to watch fireworks on the 4th with Lala, Uncle Joe, and cousin Michael!

MaeMae decided she didn't want to go to fireworks, and stayed and hung out with the Dunn's.

 We spent lots of time reading books

 And building things

 We went blueberry picking with the neighbors

We played in the sprinkler 

 And explored a new beach too!

So, even though we had fun while Daddy was away, we are thrilled that he is back with us.  Lots of pictures to come of our adventures with Daddy!

A Family Day

A couple of weeks ago all my siblings and their families came together at Grammie and Gramps' house to celebrate Gramps' retirement.  There were 10 adults and 12 children, of which 6 children were under 3 years old!   What fun...what a mess...what an experience!  Although the weekend went fast and was filled to the brim with activities, it was so fun to see all the cousins together.  This doesn't happen very often, and I think we have outgrown meeting at one house!  Lot's of pictures to share...I think I got all the kids except one...Sorry Will!
