Aidan way up high...I know the kids love it, but it does scare me sometimes!
The fam
Can you tell she has her dad right where she wants him???
Teaching Nealy the many uses of a pool noodle
Aidan resting with Lala
My boys...too cool in their shades
Daddy and his babies
Aidan rocking out in his new "boat" with his favorite things on it...balls!
Just hanging out
While most know that we LOVE the beach, it is indeed nice to go to a pool now and then. Thankfully we have friends who have opened their pool to us whenever we want to use it. With the temps pretty high, and only needing an hour or so to cool down, the pool is a great option. (especially when you don't have to deal with the sand in the car and the loads of weekend beach goers) The kids have a blast and are quite comfortable in the water, a bit TOO comfortable for my liking, but they truly are water babies! Nealy jumps off the side all by herself, Aidan jumped off a couple times, but now wants to hold a hand or two! They both love floating around!
Putting on a puppet show for mom and dad. Wes then joined them for the curtain call!
These were so neat!
Looking at the bee hive...will. have. nightmares.
playing in tire strips
The mirrors...what a laugh we had! I'm not sure who enjoyed them more, the kids or Wes!
Bubbles! Aidan thought it was fun to play in them, and Wes and Nealy got pretty good at making some big ones! The last one of this group has them trying to make a bubble around them, it never made it up too high though!
The last group of pictures are from the grocery store. I loved watching them "shop". Aidan went for cereal and milk, while Bug got a little of everything...even veggies!
Today was a scorcher. We spent all day yesterday at the beach, and needed to find an indoor activity for today. We decided on the Children's museum. The kids had a blast, and we had a nice afternoon out of the heat!
This is what I found last night as I was heading upstairs to check on the kids. Nealy has developed a habit of coming to the stairs after we leave her room, to tell us she "can't fall asleep". Of course this is usually 3-5 minutes after we say goodnight. We had escorted her back to her room twice already when I heard her start to come down a third time. I called up telling her to go back to her room, and about 10 minutes later decided to go check on her...and this is what I found! I know my kids tend to sleep in strange positions, but this one took the cake!
These last three pictures are of Aidan pushing an orange with his nose. I don't know why, but he thought it was the coolest thing ever...
On Sunday, Father's Day, the kids and I were outside waiting for Wes to return from his baseball game. (I know, I was annoyed he had a game on Father's Day too!) The kids were all dressed up for church and I just couldn't resist. Of course, they didn't cooperate much, so most are action shots! Enjoy!
