Beaching at Night

True colors, Nealy is a ragamuffin
Another true color moment, Maeve's serious look

"Put your hands up in the air"

Daddy walking Maeve around, she would do this ALL DAY.

Love this face.

It was a beautiful night

We took the kids out after dinner to get pictures of them with the sunset. What a beautiful sunset it was! The kids played in the sand and got their toes wet in the very warm (79 degree) water! They also sadly learned a lesson about swimming during a red flag, as we witnessed a man drowning and all the rescue efforts. A sad reminder of how powerful the lake really can be.
We stayed as late as we could, and hope to go back to see one more sunset before we leave. We all love the lake!

Humerus? Yes. Funny? Not at all

They jumped
Bubba relaxing
Smiling for the camera
Maeve's first time meeting a baby!
He loved all the toy tractors
The first temporary cast was fairly large and heavy.
The first few days were rough, the pain med's made her very sleepy

We love visiting our friends out "on the farm". The kids all have have so much fun together!
We were having such a great time. The kids were running around like wild things, jumping on the trampoline, swinging on a rope swing out of a tree house, running around with the chickens and goats, and all was fine. But would you believe that AFTER all the outdoor activities, AFTER we came inside to pack up for the night, Nealy would fall off a bunk bed and break her arm? Yeah, that's how we roll! 4-6 weeks my friends. In the middle of the summer! No cast as of now, just a splint. Hopefully she will heal very quickly, it's hard for my little water bug!

Happy 4th of July!

Aidan was just too cute!

Maeve did not share her siblings enthusiasm

Nealy had made her own necklace out of all her bracelets.
I'm FINALLY getting around to posting pictures of the fourth. Forgive me, it's been a busy week. The kids were SO excited about fireworks, they were SO full of energy, could not wait until they started. It was a long evening! Nealy was her typical self, excited about each and every firework that went off. Aidan liked them, but about half way through thought we had seen enough, and poor Maeve, was not really a fan.

9 Months Old!

Maeve is 9 months old today. Where has the time gone? She is crawling all over the place, pulling up, starting to stand on her own for small amounts of time. She loves to walk while holding our fingers, play with whatever her siblings are playing with, and swing!

Beach Time

Wes started making us sand creatures again

Does it get any better?

Nealy covers herself in sand

Nealy's a little water bug

Maeve LOVES the sand
Oh, the beach. How we have missed you and boy have enjoyed you already! Three little beach babies love the sand and water, and are getting browner by the day!

Playing at the "Village"

Dancing with Daddy

Maeve was not thrilled to be in the grass
Trying out the wooden shoes

A family Picture, look what the stork brought us!
Bubba driving his push cart
They were so cool!
The day would not be complete without a carousel ride.

Walking the goats
Bubba's goat (which had a rep for being stubborn), had met it's match.
Baby bunnies!

The momma goat kicked her kids off the lama so she could get on!
We couldn't convince Bubba to go down any other way!
Nealy and Aidan were a little groggy from their allergies

We love visiting Dutch Village! The kids got free passes from their summer reading club, and are already asking to go again! They added a new "ride" this year, the push carts, which were a big hit with this crew!
