Swinging

We've been busy outside too! With the weather getting warmer, we have been spending quite a bit of time outside (when it's not raining!). Maeve got a new swing which she LOVES, and the kids have planted some flowers! Now that my camera and computer reconciled and are working together, I can finally put up new pictures!

It's Good to be Back!

Back on Blogger that is! I've been unable to upload pictures over the last week, making me very crabby! Still don't know why my computer is being stubborn, but am very thankful that Wes has his laptop home!

Here is my little Nealy, so happy to have curls. I think she looks like a little Shirley Temple! She has a bounce in her step when her hair is curly!

More Beach and Pool Time

Bubba and Bug collecting shells

Discussing their plan

Going under the waterfall on the lazy river

Hold on tight!
Maeve LOVED the water...

We could have just spent all day everyday going from the beach to the indoor pool, if the kids had what they wanted. We actually went one time after these pictures, without the camera (because I'd brought it every time, how many of the same pictures to I really need???). Of course I regretted my decision when Santa (who was on vacation!) was in the hot tub! Nealy was convinced that it was Santa and with Daddy and Aidan in the hot tub with her, came right out and asked him. Since it was the real Santa, Nealy went on to ask him a bunch of questions. Aidan, however, was interested but nervous. He had been "naughty" earlier and was sure Santa knew about it. It was SO CUTE! They talked about it for the longest time, and I didn't have my camera...Never will I make that mistake again!

Day 2 Continued...

I'm not exactly sure what she was going to do if she actually got close to this duck!

This made me nervous
Aidan was hitting his ball, while Nealy lost a flop!
Maeve hanging out with Daddy
Nealy, getting her club stuck in a giraffe's head
He loved watching his ball fall into the hole
Bubba was convinced he was playing hockey...he was pretty good!
Nealy got VERY quiet, which is very rare, look where we found her!
Poor Bug, even after being moved she couldn't stay awake
"I'm not trouble, I'm a nice boy"
Aidan is now very capable of stripping...he is such a ham. One day he will actually be potty trained, he is SO LAZY!

Because we had a lot to fit in, we packed our day full! After running on the beach, and swimming in the pool, we were off to play some mini golf and find a playground! Aidan had a nice little nap in the van, and as a result was up way too late, but poor Buggy was out BEFORE dinner! Of course that meant that she would wake up about the time the rest of us wanted to go to bed, but she was so good and played her leapster until she was tired again! I'm not sure when that actually was, (I couldn't wait up!), but she still managed to wake us all up in time to see the sunrise. So sweet isn't she?

Spring Break Days 1 and 2!

Maeve in her bathing suit for the first time. She is so precious!
I love this picture!
Nealy ready to go out! She was on our balcony...not a bad view!
I can never get a picture with all three kids looking at the camera...
Mommy and Maeve, Maeve loved the sand on her toes!
Daddy and Nealy
Taking a walk to feel the water
My Boys
The water was COLD, but Nealy still had to go in!
Maeve loved being walked on the beach!
Catching a ride on alligator daddy!
Aidan loved the water fountains at the indoor pool!
Even my baby girl loved the water!
Okay, so really all these pictures are from day 2, I honestly do not have any pictures of our first day at Myrtle. Day 1 is a day I'd rather forget. After driving for four hours or so, we got to the hotel...I was scared, by the area, but am rather overly cautious in areas I'm not sure about, so I didn't say much (little did I know Wes felt the same way!). Then Wes went in to check us in and get room keys...I stayed in the van and locked the doors! He came back, the room wasn't ready, we would have to wait. Fast forward to a room being ready, all bags carried to the room, but we forgot the key in the van! I stayed with the bags and children outside of the room, and Wes went to get the keys. While we waited for him to get back, a maintenance man walked up and unlocked the room...which had people already in it! So they give us a different room that smelled so badly, and was so run-down, that Wes jumped on his computer and found us a nice resort, with clean rooms, nice people, a place where we all felt safe. Life is good. It will take me a few days to sort through the 211 pictures I took over the days we were there, have patience!!!

The Powder Incident

Being caught in the act...can you see the cloudiness of the room???
After being reprimanded...he is SO quick to tears!
Bubba serving his time-out on the step
The damage
Can you see the powder on the floor too?

While I was nursing the baby this morning, the kids went upstairs to play. Not 5 minutes later, Nealy comes down to tell me that Aidan is "powdering" her room. I grabbed my camera (I hate to miss a good photo opportunity!), and headed for the stairs. The odor from the powder hit me at the bottom of the stairs! The room was trashed, and I had to let it settle before clean up could even be attempted. What fun!
