Trick-Or-Treat!

Tinkerbell and the Conductor ready to get some treats.
Poor Aidan's pumpkin handle kept breaking!

Nealy made sure we knew the second the clock said "six-zero-zero"
Baby Maeve in an assortment of Halloween attire!
We were all ready to go out for trick or treating, and it started to rain as we left the driveway! We thought it may slow or stop so we kept on for a few houses. It didn't stop. We were wet. After a half dozen houses or so it lost it's appeal and we headed home. Maybe next year. The kids still came home with a good amount of candy, and since we didn't get that many treaters either, we have a lot of candy left over!

Happy Halloween!

Nealy and the pumpkin, I love Bubba's face in the background!
Aidan, with his security wipe in hand!
Maeve was there too, just hanging out.
I just love these smiles!

Maeve, totally into the pumpkin memories, can't you tell?
Yup, this was the best shot of all three...sad but true!
Taking the guts out!

Nealy loves her pumpkin turned jack-o-lantern

Tinkerbell, minus a few accessories!
Our train conductor

We had a busy evening last night! We carved our pumpkin and had a little dance party to show Daddy their Halloween costumes. The kids stayed up way too late, and hopefully they will nap today so we make it to trick-or-treating tonight!

Daily Happenings

Maeve, 3 weeks old! (and oh the baby acne already!)
Bug being goofy!
Daddy reading to all THREE kids!
A sleeping baby, does it get any better?
Aidan in a bucket...I just don't know what else to say about this one!

There is rarely a dull moment around here, the kids really keep us moving! It's hard to believe that Maeve is 3 weeks already, we are all loving her to pieces. She is a very good baby as long as she is being held. I think she is playing the system already!

2 week pics and more!

Maeve, 2 weeks old

They helped me rake the leaves in the front yard, then proceeded to play in them. When they were finished they "put the leaves back"...all over the front yard. geez.

Baby Maeve enjoying her new swing.

He's just so handsome...and naughty too!

Catching Up...

Talking to Grammie, telling her all about her costume!
Aidan wearing about 5 layers of clothing

Warming their feet, it got cold for a few days!

I haven't quite mastered the art of getting pictures posted in a timely manner since Maeve was born! We are all doing well and slowly working towards a routine. Nealy loves holding Maeve...and we have to be careful that she doesn't pick her up without us knowing! We are getting excited for Halloween, and hope to have pictures of carving a pumpkin soon!

Pumpkin Patch Fun...without a pumpkin!

Swinging together in the big tree swing
Taking a ride on a horse
The hayride, I wouldn't recommend going on a hayride a week after giving birth...enough said.
We took the kids to a pumpkin farm last weekend. It was a chilly day, with scattered rain but was nice while we were out. We actually didn't pick a pumpkin, as they were all "pre-picked", we will try again this weekend!

A Kodak Moment

Three precious babies!
Talk about sister love...Nealy would hold Maeve all day long.
Our first picture as a family of five, and right after showers too!
Grammie and the kids

Lots of memories to get on camera today. I was amazed that I could get a picture of all three kids together and have both Nealy and Aidan looking at the camera smiling, and Maeve's eyes open! We took advantage of Grammie being here and had her take a family picture to show off our new family of five! And after 10 days Grammie will be heading back to MI tomorrow morning. We are going to miss her, the time just went by so quickly...We love you Grammie!

Three Schirra Babies

Maeve Marie, 4 days old
Nealy "nursing" one of her babies

It felt like forever before the older Schirra babies were able to meet their little sister! They were both so excited, loving her from the minute we walked in the door. Nealy is great with her, she loves to hold and kiss Maeve constantly, and Maeve usually responds very well! Aidan loves to get her diapers, blankets, and will hold her for a minute before he gives her up! We are all adjusting well, and can't imagine life without our little Bean!
