Happy Birthday Bubba!

Bubba hit the birthday jackpot!
Baseball Guys from the Egans!
A James movie from his sisters
Moon Sand (really cool!) from Uncle Joe, Aunt Katie and kids.
A train project from Gramps and Grammie, which he wanted to do right away.
Magnetic boy from Lala and Joe!
The mac daddy of all fire trucks from Mom and Dad
All three really wanted to play with the fire truck!
"It's CASH" Thanks Pap Pap and Grandma Dee
Maeve really likes Momma's phone.
This was when he saw his cake for the first time, his exact words were "It really is a car!"
Blowing out his candles
One very happy birthday boy!
I have no idea how he didn't get sick from eating all that sugar!
"Why can't I have cake yet, Momma?"
The car cake, I have to say, fondant is really fun to work with!
A masterpiece by no means, but he loved it. Not bad for our first try!

It's hard to believe that my little boy turned three last Friday! I've been trying to put up a few new blogs and for whatever reason blogger hasn't liked me. Hopefully this one will work! Aidan had a great birthday, starting out with a note and new toy school bus from Daddy. He was so cute asking a million times throughout the day if it was still his birthday, and if he was really three. Yes, buddy, it's true. You're three. He was absolutely delighted by his presents, THANK YOU! He was also thrilled with his cake (he had better have been!). So, the start of our "birthday season" has begun. Nealy is already counting down the days, and doesn't like it that Aidan can say he is three, going on four.

The Last of the Beach Pictures

Taking in all that the beach had to offer
"Look"
Striking a pose for the camera
"Yay Maeve!"
Three little Schirra's sitting on a log
These two are TROUBLE
We found a log and thought it made for some cute pictures!
How are my kids getting so big?
Maeve ate more sand than I realized. You should have seen her diapers for days afterwards!
Love these pictures of Wes and Maeve

Even Grammie came out for a little while on our last beach day.
We didn't hold her back at all, the "play cast" got very gross that day!

Our sand friends always got lots of attention
The kids loved to "help" build them too!
Such cool kids
We had such a good time at the beach this summer. The kids are truly beach babes! They are so easy to have down at the beach, and got pretty good tans to prove it! Goodbye for now beloved beach, we hope to see you again soon.

"Look Mom, No Training Wheels!"

Even with a broken arm, Nealy could not be held back! This girl just took off on her bike, look out world! Now on to finding a bigger bike, and one that has brakes! Still can't believe those little bikes don't have any! Go Nealy!

Visiting the Zoo

Daddy and his kids
Maeve really enjoyed watching the penguins
Nealy was in a great mood for picture taking!

Playing on the toy train = heaven for Bubba
Feeding our little bird..
They've grown so much since the last time we were there!

Playing the drums

We made time to visit the zoo with the kids again this year. They LOVE visiting any zoo, and this one is just the right size for us! It turned into a very warm day, so the animals were a bit sleepy, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway! We even had a picnic!

The Festival

dancing in the street after the parade

"I caught you Mom"

Accessories

We had another great year at the Coast Guard Festival. The weather was near perfect all week. We managed to fit in a lot during our last week in Michigan!
