Seeing Santa

No shame.
Maeve is trouble. If we aren't careful, we will find her eating all the candy and sweets off the table~
Nealy was very serious, and Santa was very good with her!
Aidan told Santa he wanted ALL the trains!

We took the kids to see Santa yesterday. Nealy was nervous, after receiving an email from Santa (pnp-portable north pole!) a week ago saying she was on the "watch" list. She worked hard to improve her status. We are happy to report that she has been on the nice list the last few days! She has only asked Santa for three things, and she is really hoping she gets them all! Aidan did SO much better this year with Santa. No tears from him this year, he is old pals with Santa, especially since Santa, without prompting, asked him if he liked Thomas trains, then went on to name about a dozen! Poor Maeve did not enjoy Santa this year. He was fine to LOOK at, put as soon as she realized I set her on his lap-it was over. Maybe next year!

Little Monkeys

Maeve loves playing with the Little People, especially the nativity. Unfortunately, she has hidden all three wise men, the camel, and most other animals as well!

Nealy doesn't like to be left out!
Maeve can climb ANYTHING!
Aidan is a bit too adventurous
I had to tell him to get down, he would have gone all the way to the top!

Camera Shy

She is getting so big.
Nice huh?
Maeve is following in her brother's footsteps, she loves to sit in things!
Nealy and Aidan cuddle up with Daddy to watch the Steeler's game on his computer.
Maeve does not like strangers. She takes a while to warm up to people, and will be VERY serious during that time. Getting her picture taken professionally has been a nightmare due to this. She just won't smile. Or for stay in one spot for that matter. I've tried...Many, Many times. So, I decided to try at home, but she wasn't feeling it at home either! Oh Mae-Mae!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Maeve has to ease into her post nap atmosphere
"See my belly?"
A little excited?
These two are the biggest goofs!
This picture speaks volumes of their personalities!
Bubba and his finished product
Even Maeve joined in on the fun!
Nealy was very proud of her feathers!
Getting ready to feast!

We enjoyed our first Thanksgiving with just our little family. Wes and I cooked a lot, the kids played, decorated the Christmas tree, made some crafts, and loved hearing Christmas music again!

Park Play

Feeding the geese
Sometimes the geese get a little too close
Run Bubba, Run!
Out of about 20 pictures, this was the best one!
Nealy and Bub love their baby sister!
Mae-Mae saw a puppy
"I'm going to get that puppy!"
Just hanging around
We finally sold the Allero, Nealy had a hard time saying good-bye, and shed a few tears.

The weather has been great for playing at the park and playground! As an added bonus, it tends to wear the children out too! We love spending time outside, now if only we could get some snow!

The Morning View

School work in her jammies!
Bright eyes
Sometimes you need a different view

Sometimes it takes us a while to get motivated enough to get dressed. Especially since it's been a bit cooler in the mornings!

A Princess, A Firefighter, and a Ladybug!

My little Ladybug
Princess Aurora
Firefighter Aidan (missing his boots!)
All three very ready to go!
One reason why Nealy made out so much more than Aidan, Nealy would take a handful, while Aidan would take ONE!

What did they put in there?
CANDY!

I am not a fan of having Halloween Trick or treating on a Sunday night! The kids stayed up way too late, which meant for a VERY long Monday! HOWEVER, they had so much fun getting all dressed up and getting candy. Even Maeve caught on! Nealy was disappointed that most of the neighborhood just left bowls of candy out, which meant she didn't have to say "trick or treat!" She was a hard one to get pictures of because she was so intent on moving to the next house. She was totally candy driven. Bubba looked so cute in his firefighter costume, but wouldn't let me get a great picture either. So, we were left with lots of pictures of Mae-Mae, since she couldn't keep up with her siblings!
