The Flying Boy

Aidan and I were having some fun. He is such a cute little man...when he isn't crying!

Stop 4...The Egan's

Our trip wouldn't have been complete without a trip to see the cousins. Although they had never encountered "hurricane Nealy" before, all went well. Aidan was well entertained by Caroline and his new penguin, and Nealy hopped from cousin to cousin. Both kids were SOUND asleep less than a minute after leaving the Egan's driveway! Thanks for letting us visit! The pictures aren't the best...something was going on with my camera!

Christmas Morning

What a treat. Although she only half realized what was going on, watching Nealy enjoy Christmas morning was monumental. Christmas literally took hours to complete, the doll house, which she saw first held her off from opening anything else for easily 45 minutes. She happily would open any one's gift, get excited about things that were not even hers, she stripped so she could wear new clothes, and we all laughed along with her new Elmo. Even Aidan enjoyed that one!

Third Stop...Grand Haven

Getting a ride on Uncle Joe

Nealy and Gramps watch a movie.

Nealy is being a goof in this picture with Aidan and Grammie and Gramps!
Our Third stop for Christmas was in Grand Haven MI. Here we unloaded and tried (with lots of help), to regroup and relax for a bit. The kids were well entertained by Grammie and Gramps, Uncle Joe (who made a great dog!), Aunt Katie (and the piano!), and of course Lala. Nealy didn't want to share any of her people with her brother, but most found the opportunity to get in some lovin' from Mr. Aidan!

Round two

Our second stop on the Christmas train was in Pittsburgh. We had so much fun playing with Nealy's new instruments. Thank you Pap Pap and Grandma Dee! We also were able to have a short visit with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Mike!

Our First Stop for Christmas

Christmas started early this year with Poppy, Granny, and Uncle John's visit. The kids were both good and loved being the center of attention. We all enjoyed the visit and it definitely put us in the Christmas spirit!

new posts are coming....eventually!

With all the traveling, adjusting to being home, and me not feeling well, I haven't had the opportunity to sit down and update the blog. As I type, Aidan is screaming and Nealy is yelling at him. I will try to have new pictures up by the end of the week!! I have quite a few to share!

All Dressed Up

I took the kids to get their pictures taken this morning...it was our second attempt. I still didn't get what I wanted so I decided to try myself at home. They sure can be cute when they want to be!

He Sleeps...

Aidan has napped in his crib! My velcro baby CAN sleep without me, contrary to popular belief! It may not happen often enough, but he can do it!

First Snow

We have snow! Nealy was VERY excited and we ended up having to go out in it twice... it was cold. Nealy and I went out when it was first starting, then we all went out after Wes came home from school. We ended up getting probably 4 inches. Enough for a late start the next day for Wes! Aidan was less than thrilled to be out. He likes to be warm. We got a few pictures and brought him inside.

Princess or Butterfly???

And the world of dress up as begun. Nealy wore this little outfit ALL DAY. She took her nap in it, she wore it while she ate (which was REALLY funny with a big t-shirt over it as a bib!), and she would tell anyone and everyone that she was a princess butterfly. I don't think you can tell from the pictures, but it had wings. She even would jump off furniture trying to fly... who needs any other source of entertainment when you have a two year old???

Down to Business

Aidan has been working hard in his "office". I can't believe this is my newborn!

A Nature Walk....sort of

It's been a bit on the chilly side lately, but Bug really wanted to go outside. We bundled up and took a walk in the woods and found some very pretty leaves. Aidan was along for the ride, but wrapped tightly around his momma!
