Feed the Birds

Our resident ducks have made their way back to the neighborhood. Nealy loves to feed them, and they actually expect to be fed. We like to keep an eye out for them, soon they will have little ducklings to feed as well!

Spring has sprung!

We love outdoor play! The kids and I went for a long walk yesterday, and then played outside once we got home. Nealy was completely enthralled by the yellow flowers all over our lawn. She is very good at peddling her trike, but needs to work on the steering aspect. Aidan loved being outside. This is going to be an interesting spring with him, as he wants to put EVERYTHING into his mouth. Again, he loved sporting his new shades!

A Drawing

Nealy loves to draw, and has recently started drawing faces. This is a picture she drew today of her dad. The scribbles on the top and bottom are hair...I guess Wes needs to shave! Nealy told me that Daddy has hair on his chin! She also put in eyes, eye brows, ears, mouth, and a nose! I may be biased, but I think it's pretty good for a 2 1/2 year old!

Aidan is 7 months!

MY BIG BOY! Aidan has become so much fun. He is starting to pull up on EVERYTHING, babble like a mad man, and is getting close to the big crawl as well. Here is my little man showing off his new glasses!

Finally...Outside Again!

The weather has been nice enough to get some much needed outdoor playing time. Sorry no pictures of the boy child, he did come outside, but was happily in his wrap!

Play group

The kids and I attend play groups quite often. Nealy LOVES playing with the kids. She loves boys. Sorry Wes, I had to share!

Random Fun

These two crack me up. Nealy LOVES dresses right now, she pretends she is a princess! She tried on her new Easter dress, by herself...with an undershirt and all!

The poor little couch has taken a beating over the last year or so. Aidan likes it now too!

Eating...what fun!

Eating is a serious business around here.

Happy Half Birthday Aidan!

I can't believe my little man is 6 months old! Aidan is growing like a champ, and I fear he will soon be crawling all over the place. His little laugh is adorable, as are all his little fat rolls! He adores Nealy, while still maintaining a bit of fear as well. I can't imagine our lives without him! Happy Half Birthday to my little brute!

Bowling

Since the weather has not been cooporating with us enough to play outside, we have had to be creative to find ways to wear Nealy out! The ice storm closed her gym on Friday, so on Saturday we took her bowling. After a few tries she actually got the hang of it! I tried in vain to get a picture of her face, but the child NEVER stays still long enough, and thinks it's quite funny to annoy her mother!

Bed Bugs

I love to watch my babies sleep. Nealy loves to have a full bed, and Aidan, although he does start out in his own bed, LOVES to sleep with me! My little bed bugs.

NEALY 2 YEARS

It is just a cheap basket from Target, but it has always been one of Nealy's favorites. We were about to throw it away (it's handle broke off!), but last night decided that we would make a "bed" for her stuffed animals to sleep in to get them out of her bed. The stuffed animal population is getting out of control. Anyway, Nealy decided to join them during nap time today. Have fun, take a look back...my baby girl is so big!

Playing at Home

We've been stuck indoors quite a bit the last week or so. Play groups all seem to have the flu going around, and I'm really not up to exposing them to all the germs. We have accomplished lots of art projects, had lots of dance parties, and lots of playing together.

Entertainment

Nealy has become a great source of entertainment for Aidan. Yes, I know he is wearing a headband...

So Proud

We have so much to be proud of these days. Aidan is sitting and got his first tooth! Nealy is potty trained (except for sleeping, I'm not ready for that one yet!), and you should see this girl tumble! She has been taking her gymnastics classes and is proving to be quite a star! I hope to get some pictures of her class soon.

Floor Time

Nealy is such a good helper. With Aidan now sitting up on his own, Nealy feels it is her job to sit behind him to catch him if he falls over. It's so cute! Granted most of the time Aidan will fall trying to find Nealy! I wish you could hear the giggles from both of them!

Superbowl Sunday!

What fun. We stayed home and had an awesome time eating (way too much), playing, dancing, and yelling at the T.V. Nealy was Daddy's little helper, helping Wes with everything from loading the beer into the fridge to teaching him how to dance! What a little ham we have here! She insisted on wearing her "football" shirt, which, by the way, is at LEAST three sizes too small. Aidan found his "yelling" voice, and wasn't afraid to use it! We had fun, and ALL slept very well that night! (Aidan slept ALL NIGHT in HIS BED!) YEAH!!!
