ZOO!

It was hard to get good pictures inside...the penguin was "dancing" with the kids!

On Memorial Day we paid a visit to the John Ball Zoo. It was a beautiful day, many of the animals were out and about. Aidan loved the Tiger that was roaring, and roared right back at it. Both kids loved the bears and the penguins. We look forward to going back on a less crowded day!

Painting and a Lost Pic Found

Here we are with Great Gram Smith, after meeting for lunch. I guess Aidan didn't eat enough, as he decided to eat his nasty croc!

The kids love to paint. I tolerate it, because they love it. It is always a mess, but their creations are priceless. There is ALWAYS dipping mixing colors, and using Q-tips instead of paint brushes works so much better at this age. They don't care. I'm thinking that soon we will move all future paint sessions outside...

A Windy Day

Wes and I took the kids down to the beach yesterday to play in the sand. It was very windy! The temp was in the high 70's, but the breeze was a very cool one, especially down by the lake. The kids had a blast, and were covered in sand from head to toe! We played outside when we got home, we all enjoyed having daddy home for the afternoon!

This one scared me bit, Aidan really likes to cover himself up...and we have to constantly monitor him! Thank goodness for the video monitor!

I find myself laughing very often at the positions I find the kids sleeping in. I had to snap a few pictures to share, these were all taken over the last few weeks...

Baby Bean

We had a sonogram today for Baby Bean. S/he is growing well and seems to be a bit on the active side (go figure). We got lots of pictures, but Bean prefers to have his/her hands up by his/her face. And if you couldn't tell, we didn't find out the sex. One day, preferably in about 19/20 weeks, we will find out for sure. Until then, we will just have to wait alongside everyone else. We are no where closer to picking a name...so for now the baby will be called "BEAN".

Nealy had a hard time falling asleep the other night. After destroying her room, this is how we found her.

Both kids have really enjoyed playing with Lego's. They build creations constantly!

One of Nealy's new favorite games to play is Go Fish. She is getting fairly good at playing, however she refuses to hold her cards, instead she lays them on the floor for everyone to see. She also announces what card she gets when she goes "fishing". One day... Aidan likes to join in and "help", which always makes the game more interesting as well!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Today is a beautiful day! Nealy started out going to ballet class, then to Home Depot to make a wheel barrel plant holder. Her day could have been complete right there. Wes and I mustered up the energy to take the kids down to the beach to fly Nealy's kite. They had a blast. Nealy loved the kite, as did Aidan, and they both loved playing in the sand again. They will most definitely be requiring a tub tonight!
