A Weekend Review

It was a very busy weekend in DC!  We drove up on Friday night, spent Saturday morning walking the mall with the kids (not really a great idea given the heat, the fact I only have flip flops with me, and being pregnant)!  Then Saturday evening we went to Wes' cousin's wedding!  It was lots of fun seeing a lot of people we hadn't seen in quite a while.  The kids had a great time, and besides the fact that I was a bit nervous with the kids (mostly Maeve) at a roof top reception...it was a fun time!

We have tried to spend as much time as we can outside.  It's hard some days when it's in the upper 90's!  Our Y pool has opened up in the afternoons now, but with a crazy Mae-Mae it's hard to take pictures there!

The kids helped Daddy wash the cars one afternoon.  They are such great helpers!  We do what we can to keep cool these days!

Nealy had her ballet performance a couple weeks ago.  If blogger had been nicer to me, these pictures could have been up a lot sooner!  Her studio performed "CandyLand", Nealy was a gumdrop and did a wonderful job.  She truly loves to perform!  Great job Buggy!

A Lost Tooth

Nealy lost her first tooth the night of her ballet recital!  She was SO excited!  The tooth fairy visited and left her $5!  She has a couple more that are loose now too...  My Buggy is growing up so fast!

Bubba Sleeps

Aidan is quite the character.  He usually fights sleep, but when it catches up to him, there is no stopping it.  First he fell asleep in the hallway, rain boots and all.  Then he went to sleep in his bed (among about 30 books) with Nealy's umbrella to keep the "moonlight" out of his eyes!
