News Worthy Updates

 Bubba learned how to ride a two-wheeler!  (He got a boy bike for his birthday...no worries, he isn't riding a girl bike any longer :)

 Maeve thought she was losing her tan, so she found some tan lipstick and went to town.

 Our little darling also decided to climb out of her crib, so she is now in the toddler bed!  

She may look sweet, but keeping this busy baby out of trouble is my full time job.  Wes and I have found her in bed with a sibling, or in our bed many times since she isn't caged anymore.  I miss the crib.

Before we left for Michigan, and after we got back, we lived at the pool.  It was the only way we could handle being outside in the heat!  It's been closed since Labor Day, and it's still warm out, so we sure do miss the pool!  We have three little fish, all love the water!  For now swim lessons will have to make do.

Over the summer we were able to visit the east side of Michigan, and see some other family there.  We took the kids to Lake Huron for the first time.  They LOVED the water, but not so much all the rocks that hid on the bottom!  We had a great afternoon introducing Maeve to Great Grandma Smith!  Uncle Carl, Aunt Rose and Aunt Brenda came to the lake to visit as well!

First Day of School Pics

The big kids started school this month!  There were no tears, by parent or child, except for Mae-Mae who missed her kids terribly.  She is having the biggest adjustment!  Nealy and Aidan both love school, and are receiving wonderful reviews by their teachers, making their Mom and Dad proud!

Bubba had a great birthday.  He was THRILLED with all his presents, and loved that he got to open them in the morning!  Thank you to all who made his day so special.  It's hard for this Momma to believe that her baby boy is four already.
