Introducing Maeve Marie!

Our newest little love came flying into the world yesterday 10-9-09 at 8:21pm. She was 8 lbs 5 oz, and 21 1/4 inches long. She has quite a birth story, after being 5 days late she didn't give us much warning of her impending birth! We had an all natural delivery, much to Momma's dismay...we've survived. Maeve is a sweet baby, and we are looking forward to going home tomorrow. The kids have yet to formally meet her, as anyone under 18 is banned from the hospitals unless they are a patient! I miss them, and can't wait to introduce Maeve to her big sister and brother! More pictures to come!

Today we celebrated Nealy's fourth birthday. What an event! We are so proud of her and in awe of how she changes every day. We love you Buggy! Happy Birthday little love!

End of Sept Pics

We've had picnics at the park...

We've been trying to keep busy as we wait around for Baby Bean...we are all getting rather impatient. Please Bean, come soon...but not on Sat. or Sun., it's your sister's birthday!

A New Playground, and Soccer pics!

We've been taking the kids to a nearby playground after dinner when it's not so stinking hot! They both enjoy it thoroughly! This particular evening they played in the sand volleyball court, found lots of logs, and tired themselves out!

Nealy has been enjoying soccer, not quite as much as her little brother (who by the way is a natural, too bad he has to wait another 6 months!), she likes being out there, and is too darn cute!

Just My Style

Can't say the Schirra children have no style...it's one of a kind style! Aidan loves his train shirt, which was a hand-me-down from the Egan children...don't tell Aidan, he thinks it's Thomas! And Nealy, oh Nealy! She is CONSTANTLY dressing up as a princess! She is extremely into dress up at the moment!

Socks

Aidan had a hard time falling asleep last night, which is common when he takes an afternoon nap these days. With him being in a toddler bed now, he is free to get up and explore a bit more than I'd like, notice the baby wipes on the floor??? and yes, those are socks on his feet and HANDS! What a hoot!

Face Paintings and Painting!

We had fun with paints on Sunday afternoon. Somehow, all but one paint brush have disappeared in the move...who knows. A paint brush thief must be on the loose. We

improvised and used Q-tips for their artwork. Lala was in charge of the face painting, which was a hoot after she was finished. Both kids had something on each cheek, and a football on their forehead! What a mess, but so much fun!
