Carving Pumpkins!

We finally took the time last night to carve out our pumpkins! Nealy and Maeve loved all the pumpkin "guts", while Aidan preferred to watch, and occasionally help with the aid of a spoon! The older two each got to design their own this year! To say they are excited is putting in mildly!

We decided to try a different pumpkin patch from last year. We liked last years', but their pickins were slim! We found one that had a great "pick your own" patch, but was slim on the extra activities. We live and learn. We got a couple of pumpkins that will be carved soon. The kids were in weird moods, Maeve was very clingy, Bubba subdued, However, Nealy was her typical self! Gotta love her love of life! Happy Fall Ya'll!

I'm still in denial that my baby is a year old. Seeing that Maeve really didn't NEED any great amount of new toys for her birthday, we brought the family to the Lazy*5 Ranch to celebrate. The kids LOVE seeing all the animals, even if some got a TAD too close for my liking. (Aidan's too!) Fun was had by all. They have a great playground to run all around, and if it hadn't warmed up so much (and had the MI vs MSU game not been on) we could have stayed there all day!
