Sometimes it takes us a while to get motivated enough to get dressed. Especially since it's been a bit cooler in the mornings!

What did they put in there?

CANDY!

I am not a fan of having Halloween Trick or treating on a Sunday night! The kids stayed up way too late, which meant for a VERY long Monday! HOWEVER, they had so much fun getting all dressed up and getting candy. Even Maeve caught on! Nealy was disappointed that most of the neighborhood just left bowls of candy out, which meant she didn't have to say "trick or treat!" She was a hard one to get pictures of because she was so intent on moving to the next house. She was totally candy driven. Bubba looked so cute in his firefighter costume, but wouldn't let me get a great picture either. So, we were left with lots of pictures of Mae-Mae, since she couldn't keep up with her siblings!

Carving Pumpkins!

We finally took the time last night to carve out our pumpkins! Nealy and Maeve loved all the pumpkin "guts", while Aidan preferred to watch, and occasionally help with the aid of a spoon! The older two each got to design their own this year! To say they are excited is putting in mildly!

We decided to try a different pumpkin patch from last year. We liked last years', but their pickins were slim! We found one that had a great "pick your own" patch, but was slim on the extra activities. We live and learn. We got a couple of pumpkins that will be carved soon. The kids were in weird moods, Maeve was very clingy, Bubba subdued, However, Nealy was her typical self! Gotta love her love of life! Happy Fall Ya'll!
