While we were in Michigan for Lala and Joe's wedding, we got to meet our newest cousin Michael! And since I have NO pictures of the wedding or our other cousins (seriously, how did that happen???) I'll have to post a bunch of the ones with Michael. We sadly didn't get to stay at the reception, due to some sick kids, so I missed out on all the dancing pictures!

We drove through lots of snow on our way to Michigan. Ironically, the further north we went, the less snow was hit! We decided that we better get the kids outside quickly after seeing a forecast for higher temps and some rain. We got two days of playing in the snow/ice before the rain came.

Aidan was THRILLED to have his very own Michigan hoodie!

We had a great morning with the kids. They all seemed to be very happy with their goodies, and had a great time opening gifts. So much fun! Nealy's favorite gift was her "Julie" doll, Aidan got a very BOY big wheel, and Maeve her little rocking horse!

Seeing Santa

Maeve is trouble. If we aren't careful, we will find her eating all the candy and sweets off the table~

We took the kids to see Santa yesterday. Nealy was nervous, after receiving an email from Santa (pnp-portable north pole!) a week ago saying she was on the "watch" list. She worked hard to improve her status. We are happy to report that she has been on the nice list the last few days! She has only asked Santa for three things, and she is really hoping she gets them all! Aidan did SO much better this year with Santa. No tears from him this year, he is old pals with Santa, especially since Santa, without prompting, asked him if he liked Thomas trains, then went on to name about a dozen! Poor Maeve did not enjoy Santa this year. He was fine to LOOK at, put as soon as she realized I set her on his lap-it was over. Maybe next year!

Maeve loves playing with the Little People, especially the nativity. Unfortunately, she has hidden all three wise men, the camel, and most other animals as well!

Maeve does not like strangers. She takes a while to warm up to people, and will be VERY serious during that time. Getting her picture taken professionally has been a nightmare due to this. She just won't smile. Or for stay in one spot for that matter. I've tried...Many, Many times. So, I decided to try at home, but she wasn't feeling it at home either! Oh Mae-Mae!
