 So we THOUGHT we could get away with just playing in the sand and taking pictures, these two decided that was NOT going to happen.  No bathing suits?  No problem.

Seems like it was forever ago already!  The beach is a magical place at night... we love it!  We also learned that it is impossible to keep the kids out of the water, so next time we'll just bring bathing suits, even if we aren't planning on playing in the water :)

4 Years Old...

And now he is FOUR!  How on earth did that happen?  It's unbelievable how much he has grown.

Babies Down on the Farm

 

I just love summertime babies!  While we were in Michigan we ventured over to my friends house out in the country.  We've known each other since first grade, and our kids have the best time with each other.  I got zero pictures of Bubba while we were there, he was running wild and free for hours.  It's great watching them explore!  Nealy wasn't still much either, and spent a good amount of time in their pool.  The child is a fish.  Maeve...Oh Maeve...she is one you have to watch constantly.  I loved getting pictures of her while she walked around in her diaper.  We could not keep clothes on the child.  So much fun!

Beach Babies

We have all enjoyed some days at the beach.  It's amazing how the kids become so easy going while we are there!  They are all sporting some great tans!

Beach Sledding

 Going to the beach is a production, made easier by the use of sleds.  One big toboggan and in this case, two baby sleds.  Maeve and cousin Michael enjoyed their rides!  (Bug and Bubba were already enjoying the lake!)

4th of July...a little late

 Nealy got to soak her feet, but couldn't get her head wet.  She still had her stitches!

We had a great 4th this year!  After an afternoon pool party, we hit up the fireworks downtown.  The kids all did well, Maeve would watch them while still having a death grip on me.  Bubba liked them, but thought they lasted too long!  Nealy was in awe the entire time!

We took a weekend to visit family and friends in Pittsburgh, and got to enjoy a big block party.  The kids and their cousins had a great time running around all day.  It was a bit hot and hilly for this pregnant momma, but we managed just fine.
