Feeling Better!

 My little baby isn't so little anymore!

 MaeMae was testing her lungs...they seem to be better!

Everyone is feeling a bit better these days!  Happy Valentine's Day from the Schirra's!

Making Music

Little Miss MaeMae is very interested in her brother's violin.  I have to give her credit, she was very creative in making her own "violin"~!  Since she attends Bubba's lessons with us, she already knows all the different rhythms!  

Sickies...

It's been a LONG three weeks.  Everyone has had some sort of illness, many times overlapping each other.  To date we have filled 15 prescriptions in the last 15 days.  We have had multiple ear infections, croup, walking pneumonia, bronchitis, and the list goes on!  (The above picture is only 11 of our 15 prescriptions!)

 We've all needed lots of rest.

 And everyone but Momma and Kellen needed breathing treatments.

Here's to hoping that soon everyone will be well again.  Momma is going to need a vacation soon!

Paleontologist Aidan

Aidan got a paleontologist kit for Christmas this year (Thanks Lochinski's).  He was chomping at the bit to be able to "go on his dig".  I finally set him outside on the porch to discover his dinosaur bones.  We haven't yet put the bones together (we need Kellen free time), but he was thrilled with his discovery!

A Shower Taken

 "What do you mean I'm not supposed to be in here?"

 "Turn it up a little please."

Yup.  He did.  And he enjoyed himself immensely.  Wes started the shower to get it warm before he was intending on getting in.  He got a bit more than he bargained for!  Kellen was NOT happy when we made him get out.  This kid has taken to water like you wouldn't believe.  He would stay in for ever.  And he's like his momma....he loves HOT showers!

Back at it!

 Bubba learned his team doesn't always win.  He was disappointed, but we told him that even a blind squirrel will find a nut once in a while.

 Kellen was thrilled to have a hat like Bubba's.  Thanks cousin Drew!

 We took the kids back to the children's museum to burn off some steam!

 We only had our phone cameras with us...oops~

 Water tables are always a hit!

 Kellen preferred something faster.

 Bubba has been so nice to read to his sister.

Nealy lost ANOTHER tooth.  Poor tooth fairy must be going broke!

Christmas 2012

 We've enjoyed lots of snacks...even when we had to help ourselves.

 Let nothing go to waste!  

(Kellen was the one who spilled, but MaeMae didn't miss an opportunity to snack!)

We decorated cookies 

 Most of us did, Kellen tasted.

 Nealy was very serious about her decorating this year.
