Taking a Tour

 The kids had never gone on a tour of the coast guard cutters, so we decided to give it a shot this year!

 Our first attempt wasn't good, we missed the scheduled hours!  So, the kids rang the bell instead!

 We went back the following day and got right on!

 The kids liked walking all around!

 They even got to sit in the big chairs!

 We liked the view!

Parades!

 The crew for the kids' parade...it was cold!

 I'm not even sure they saw anything but the candy!

 Then came the Grand Parade a week later!

 This one is longer, and a very big deal!

Up North

 We traveled to Traverse City for a mini get-a-way!

 We found a state park and although it was too cold to swim, we had fun exploring!

 I don't think this kid CAN take a bad picture!

 Kellen LOVES ducks, and these ducks would eat right from your hand!

 While walking downtown we saw Bubba's restaurant!

 So, of course, that's where we had to eat lunch!
