Poor Aidan...
Talking to Santa...this was as close as Aidan would get!
Santa had just told her that she was on the "nice" list...looks like she will get her baby doll!

Waiting in line at the Santa house
standing by the house, you can see through the window and see Santa and Mrs. Claus!Last night we ventured downtown to see Santa at the Santa House. It was cold, and the line was outside. Thankfully we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes, and the kids were bundled up quite well. Wes and I were a bit chilly though! Nealy went right on in, and after an initial shy period, she opened up and sat on Santa's lap. She asked for a baby doll and a best animal (stuffed animal to the rest of us!), Santa said he could manage those (thankfully those two things have been taken care of!). She then informed Santa that she would leave him cookies and would leave water for the reindeer. Aidan was not thrilled, he only liked Santa from Momma's arms! Oh there is always next year for him!

Aidan totally reminds me of the little brother from A Christmas Story. Too stinkin' cute!
