On Saturday we packed the kids up and headed to the mountains.
We were going apple picking! (Maeve wasn't sure, since she couldn't see any apples!)
"Seriously, Mom, I don't see any!"
Due to the weather, the apple crop was slim, we had to search thousands, dozens of trees.
"Do you see any up there?
Behold, an apple!
Just for MaeMae!
Bubba had his eye on one too...can you see it?
Nealy got it down for him! (after all, my kids are expert climbers!)
Still looking!
"Mom, I thought you said this was going to be FUN?"
Kellen was beside himself, there were so many "balls" on the ground!
A full basket!
Momma found a perfect apple...and Daddy was so nice to climb up and get it!
Dad is good to have around when you need a lift!
Maeve "lost" her basket
Nealy found it!
All is good.
My picking crew!
We couldn't leave with out a few pictures...
For your viewing enjoyment!
This was a highlight for Kellen!
Even Mom and Dad got into it!
I tried, but these are the best picture of all four together...I give up.
We are growing big and strong!
Little man was taking it all in!
Because climbing is what she does!
"What IS that Mom?"
"looks a bit shady to me!"
"In there! They have feathers!"
