Just precious. Nealy has been SO excited about dancing ON STAGE, that she has practically exploded with excitement. Today was the much anticipated day...her dance performance/recital. Her class was too cute, and although I did get to see it yesterday during dress rehearsal, today took the cake. Can't wait to get the DVD so I can share it with everyone. She did so well, and was so cute, it was hard to handle! I don't have too many pictures to share, as we were not supposed to use them during rehearsal or the performance, but I did manage to get a few. Aidan made it through the majority, falling asleep during the last 45 minutes or so. He made a very loud announcement when the house lights went down... "It's dark in here". I did take a little video as well, but am going to try and edit it before I try and post...hopefully I can get it to work!

Nealy has a busy week! On Monday she had her last gymnastics class, today she had her last art class, and on Saturday she has her ballet performance! WOW!!! After today's art class, we were invited to come to their "art gallery". All the kids got little shirts, and showed the parents all the art projects they've finished during the course. Nealy's art was hanging in the front, and she loved being able to show it off!

A Boy and His Box...

He can have every toy imaginable, but if a box enters the picture it wins hands down. Aidan was sitting in, climbing out of, storing things, and even used the box as a basket ball hoop. At least he is creative with it!

The Last Gymnastics Class

Today we had Nealy's last gymnastics class. Since late October she has passed through all the preschool levels leaving us unsure where we will put her in the fall! We are very proud of our little gymnast! Aidan got in on the fun too, and is very much into the gymnastics equipment, as well as playing basketball. Man this kid loves sports! He recognizes baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer. He is very into playing basketball right now, and usually uses my laundry baskets as his hoops!

Too Cute

We went for a long hike on Sunday afternoon. It was beautiful out, and we hiked through the woods and sand dunes that lead us to the lake. After the kids played on the beach for awhile, we turned around and headed back. Wes carried Aidan on his back in the Ergo, and Nealy ran ahead of us almost the entire way! I brought my camera along, and as we headed out on the trail I realized the batteries died! Not a happy momma! These pictures of Wes and Aidan were taken when we got home. Aidan fell asleep during the hike back, slept in the car on the way home, and on his dad when we got home. He is getting so big, soon we won't have these moments!
