It's COLD Outside!

The Jingle Bell Parade was tonight! We bundled all up, put the kids in the sled, and made our way downtown. What fun. Yes it was VERY cold, it must have snowed at least 8 inches today. I just realized that I didn't take any pictures of the actual parade. Oops.

The kids woke up to goodies in their shoes complements of good old St. Nick! Nealy was beside herself after seeing starburst in her shoe, as for Aidan, he was thrilled with his "ba-ga" known to the rest of us as apples! This time of year is just so much fun!

Trouble

My dear child. He is too much sometimes. Fearless. He must have gotten up and jumped off 10 times. What will be next??? Poor Buggy. She isn't feeling well today (probably the only reason she wasn't joining in on her brother's fun!) She is asleep in the chair with her Daddy now. Poor baby!

Watching

I'm not sure, as I wasn't home at the time, but I assume they were watching the trash truck. Or maybe they were waiting for Momma to come home!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a low key Thanksgiving this year. Most of us ate our hearts out until our stomachs made us stop! (Wes is still waiting, he got a Thanksgiving bug!) The kids were so happy to have everyone home, which means lots of attention for both of them. Nealy did a project after dinner to help count down the days to Christmas. She got out her little scissors and glue stick, and did a great job! She has an activity to do every day to help the "waiting process". So stay tuned, I'm sure there will be plenty of pictures to share!

We have had enough snow to play in this week. After finding all the winter necessities, we headed out for a little play time. This was the first time Aidan actually got down to play in the snow, as last year he was just a little one! He liked it quite a bit, except for having his hands covered. Nealy, as usual, loved the snow. She was all over the place. We will have to dig up our sleds and take them sledding soon. I need to ease into this whole winter thing, and maybe invest in some snow pants myself! I have a feeling I'll be spending a good amount of time outdoors this winter!

Aidan was a bit too quiet during dinner last night. He had finished his plate and headed into the kitchen to busy himself. And look what was found. I guess he wanted pasta for dinner. He was "humming" his serious song while putting the spaghetti back into the box one by one. He would have sat there all night. Oh my dear boy!

Time for Tea

We had a nice visit over the weekend from Pap Pap and Grandma Dee. On Saturday Nealy went to "tea" downtown with Grammie and Grandma Dee. She loved the attention and felt very grown up!

Nealy's First Dentist Visit!

Nealy had her first visit to the dentist this afternoon. We talked about it for the last couple weeks, and she was so excited to go! She was SO GOOD, answered all their questions, did everything they asked her to do, she was a bit nervous, but did great! In the end, she got a great report, no cavities, great bite, and they were thrilled that she flosses already! She was thrilled that she got a goody bag with stickers, flossers, a new toothbrush and toothpaste! They take their picture on their first visit, I didn't have my camera, (I really, REALLY need my camera fixed!) so their picture will have to do!

Stick'em Up!

I found an old vest of my brother's while going through some dress up stuff. It fits Aidan perfectly, and he seems to really get into it! Don't mess with the Aidan authority, and he has the car to match!

Aidan Cooks

Aidan loves the kitchen, especially when Daddy is in there cooking! He knows where all the pots and pans are, and can often be found getting out pasta or a potato or two. On this particular day, he whined until he was given a wooden spoon to stir with. If he was just a bit taller, I may never have to cook again!

Parent Watch Week

Nealy had parent watch week for Ballet today. She has been very excited all week that

we could come and stay with her. It was fun, she was hilarious! Enjoy a couple quick movies of Buggy in action!
